PRIMORDIAL: 'The Gathering Wilderness' To Be Released On Picture Disc

Ireland's Sentinel Records has secured a license to release PRIMORDIAL's "The Gathering Wilderness" on picture disc. The vinyl will be limited to 500 copies and should be released be this summer. Pre-orders for the disc will soon be taken.

"The Gathering Wilderness" was originally issued in 2005 through Metal Blade Records.

PRIMORDIAL is currently writing material for a new album, which it tentatively plans on recording this summer. Vocalist Nemtheanga stated in an online posting last month, "We are starting to get somewhere here and there in slow PRIMORDIAL fashion with the songwriting for the new album, there are more then a few ideas. We are just sifting through them and trying to figure out what works and what doesn't work at all. Ideas for recording are becoming as concrete as they ever were before but for once it looks like we are going to record in summer. Every single album without fail has been recorded in winter. Which although inspiring sometimes can get really tiring trudging your way through a Dublin winter to sit listening to the same song 50 times for 8 hours..."
